About This Site
This site came about due to me launching another site in 2004 called Baedeker's Old Guide Books. Having quite a few Guidebooks and some Atlases, the idea for this site materialized, and I acquired the domain name. It's only in Oct, 2006 that I really attempted to complete it. Across the internet there are few sites that give any information on old guidebooks and old Atlases. This site caters for the collector and historian, but the appeal is much greater. I plan to put old maps from some of my Guidebooks and Atlas on this site which will appeal to genealogist. Eventually my other site Baedeker's Old Guide Books will join this site in the same hosting.
